The Politics and International Relations undergraduate course offered by the University of Strathclyde provides students with a comprehensive understanding of the world’s political landscape. It combines the study of domestic politics and international relations with an exploration of current issues such as democracy, conflict and human rights. Course Content: The academic curriculum is divided into two distinct parts - politics and international relations. The politics part of the course involves the study of political theory, Scottish politics and British politics. The International Relations component delves into the theories of international relations, foreign policy analysis, and international political economy. The course spans four years with the third year offering the opportunity for study abroad or professional training.Key Modules: Some of the key modules include Concepts and Theories of Politics, Scottish Politics, Theories and Concepts of International Relations, and Democracy and Democracy Promotion.
