The University of Strathclyde offers an Undergraduate Course in Education and Law that aims to apply the skills and knowledge of law within the educational system, as well as a comprehensive study of legal regulations and procedures. Not only does this course give a deep understanding of law but also provides a broad understanding of educational theories, policies, and practices.Course Content: Commencing with core subjects for both Law and Education, you’ll move onto more detailed law subjects like Criminal Law, Delict and Unjustified Enrichment, and Family Law. On the Education side, you’ll be provided subjects like Educational Disadvantage, Child Protection, and Support for Learning. Key Modules: The course offers five modules in law, two modules in education, and one inter-disciplinary module per semester.Accreditations: The course is accredited by General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) which means you’ll be teaching-qualified at graduation.Future Careers: Students can pursue a career in teaching at the same time as pursuing a career in law.
