The Education & History undergraduate course available at the University of Strathclyde is a course in which students analyze and interpret past events and developments, while understanding education from philosophical, historical, social, and psychological perspectives. This course takes four years of full-time study to complete.Course Content: Throughout the course, students learn through a combination of lectures, tutorials, and project work. From year 3 onwards, students will focus on History dissertation, Debates in Education, Issues in Professional Practice, Practice Placement, and Teacher Identity and Curriculum Studies. In the fourth and final year, students undertake a professional placement and submit a dissertation within the education curriculum.
