The Nursing Mental Health Postgraduate course at the University of Salford is a full-time program for graduates from any discipline who possess the caring, compassionate, values-based approach needed to become highly competent mental health nurses. The course is designed to give students the specialized knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to contribute towards health and wellbeing and to the planning, implementing, and evaluation of person-centered care.Course Content: The course is generally framed within advancing health and wellbeing, and you will learn to develop personal and professional healthcare practice underpinned by a commitment to integrated, innovative and evidence-based care. You will gain the knowledge and skills to provide safe, competent and effective treatment and care at a level of autonomous practice, in complex and unpredictable contexts.
