The Interior Design undergraduate course at the University of Salford is an enriching program that fosters creativity and technical skills aimed at creating functional spaces. Practical modules include design studio work where students can apply the skills they’ve learned in a simulated environment.Key Modules: The core modules include Introduction to Interior Design, Design Process, Interior Design Studio 1 and 2, Technical Studies in Interior Design, and Critical and Contextual Studies. An important aspect of the course is the placement year, which allows students to experience working in the interior design industry.Accreditations: The course is recognised by the Chartered Society of Designers (CSD) and the European Council of Interior Architects (ECIA).Future Careers: Graduates can pursue careers in various sectors such as interior design consultancies, architectural practices, event and set design for TV, film, and theatre, visual merchandising and exhibition design.
