The English and Multi-Discipline degree at the University of Salford allows students to combine the in-depth study of English Literature and English Language with various complimentary disciplines. This undergraduate course is designed to prepare students to understand and critically engage with contemporary and historical literature across a wide range of genres and mediums.Course Content: The course facilitates the understanding of the relationship between text and society from early modern to contemporary times. Students gain insights into how digital media environments shape language, meaning, and interaction. The course content includes a mixture of theoretical study as well as opportunity to develop practical skills. Key Modules: Students will study modules such as English Language, English Literature and select a module from a complementary discipline such as Politics, History, or Sociology each year.
