Ba (Hons.) Creative Writing (Multidiscipline)

The Creative Writing: Multi-Discipline course at the University of Salford offers students a chance to explore a variety of writing disciplines, collaborate with successful authors and scriptwriters, and also expand their potential audience. This course will provide you with industry insights and knowledge on how to develop your skills on an international scale.Course Content: Students will get a chance to explore many creative writing practices including copywriting, scriptwriting, and novel writing. They will create their own portfolio, which can include poetry, scripts, genre fiction, adverts, and journalistic pieces. In the final year, a creative industry module will also be available for you to learn about freelancing opportunities, agency work, or postgraduate study. Key Modules: The course includes core modules such as Principles of Storytelling, Essentials of Poetry, Writing for Performance, The Graphic Novel, and Future Forms.
