The Law LLB (Hons) at the University of Bradford is a comprehensive and challenging course that provides our students with a thorough grounding in law. The course combines excellent teaching with a real concern for developing the personal, research and employability skills of our students.Course Content: The course content spans a wide range of legal topics, over the course of three years, allowing students to develop knowledge in areas that interest them. These areas include Contract Law, Criminal Law, Land Law, Equity & Trusts, and European Union Law among other areas.Key Modules: In the first two years, students are required to complete a number of compulsory modules to give them a solid grounding in core legal principles. In year 3, students are free to choose from a wide range of optional modules that have in the past included topics such as Environmental Law, Family Law, Employment Law, Company Law, and Intellectual Property Law.Accreditations: This course is a 'qualifying law degree' accredited by both the Solicitors Regulation Authority and the Bar Standards Board. This means that, subject to achieving the necessary grades, it acts as a direct route to undertake the legal practice course (LPC) or barristers vocational course (BVC). Future Careers: The skills and knowledge obtained throughout the course can open a wide range of careers for graduates.
