The Economics BSc (Hons) program at the University of Bradford aims to develop students’ understanding of economics and their ability to apply knowledge, tools, and techniques to both theoretical and applied problems. The course covers a wide range of topics including microeconomics, macroeconomics, and international economics, coupled with study skills development and options in business-related areas.Course Content: Within this course, students will study modules on contemporary issues in economics, economic history, international finance and the macroeconomy, statistical analysis for economists, employability and study skills, and methods and applications in economics. The course also includes an optional sandwich placement year in the industry.Key Modules: Core modules include Introduction to Economics, Economics and Business Environment, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, International Economics, Development Economics, Industrial Economics, Labour Economics, and Economics Dissertation.Accreditations: This course has been conferred 'Course Recognition' status by the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). This means that graduates from this course may be eligible to claim exemptions from some examinations of the CII.Future Careers: Graduates of this course could go onto various roles including Economic Consultant, Analyst, Statistician, Financial Advisor, Accountant, Civil Service Fast Streamer, Health Analyst, Marketing Executive, and Retail Buyer.
