<h3>About the Scholarship</h3>
This prestigious scholarship recognises applications from outstanding students who can demonstrate their skills and commitment to becoming future global leaders.
There are up to 30 Vice-Chancellor's Scholarships available, of &pound;7,000 each, allocated as a fee waiver in the first year of study.
The scholarships are designed to assist international students, enrolling in September 2025 for the first time at Teesside University, to study an undergraduate degree or postgraduate taught degree.
Point of entry:&nbsp;For students enrolling in September 2025.

<h3>Eligibility criteria</h3>
To be eligible to apply for the Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship, you will:
<ul>
<li style="font-size: 14pt;">Be a genuine applicant, intending to study an international fee-paying undergraduate (including Level 0) or postgraduate taught degree level course, enrolling for the first time at Teesside University.</li>
<li style="font-size: 14pt;">Start your course in September 2025</li>
<li style="font-size: 14pt;">Submit an application for consideration</li>
<li style="font-size: 14pt;">You have paid the deposit amount as stated on your offer letter</li>
<li style="font-size: 14pt;">You have made your conditional offer firm by accepting it</li>
<li style="font-size: 14pt;">Must be an international fee payer at Teesside University studying on-campus in Middlesbrough or Darlington (Teesside University Online and Teesside University courses outside the UK are therefore excluded from this scholarship.)</li>
</ul>
Please note:&nbsp;The Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship may not be used in conjunction with any other Teesside University Scholarship or Alumni Scholarship.

Applicants are required to submit a personal statement of no more than&nbsp;500 words&nbsp;demonstrating:

<li style="font-size: 14pt;">how you will use your Teesside University degree to achieve your future ambitions.</li>

Successful recipients will be notified by email once the Scholarship committee has reviewed all applications.

Please complete the application form with all requested information prior to submission. You will not be able to edit the application once you have submitted it.

<h3>Conditions of the Scholarship</h3>
Successful recipients of the Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship will be required to act as an ambassador for the University for the duration of your studies, which may involve but is not limited to the following:

<li style="font-size: 14pt;">representing Teesside University at Open Days</li>
<li style="font-size: 14pt;">contributing to marketing and promotional materials</li>
<li style="font-size: 14pt;">participating in international student events</li>
<li style="font-size: 14pt;">acting as a mentor to fellow students</li>
<li style="font-size: 14pt;">contributing to/creating a blog or vlog to report on your experience at Teesside University.</li>
</ul>
You are also required to continue to engage with the University as a valued member of our global alumni.

Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship - Teesside University

Teesside University offers a range of scholarships for eligible international students who demonstrate academic excellence in their application. The aim of these scholarships is to support students who receive the highest grades prior to joining the University.
The Scholarship value is&nbsp;&pound;2,000 in your first full academic year of study&nbsp;(all successful applicants on a foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate programme). Applicants on a foundation/pathway programme delivered at Teesside University International Study Centre are not eligible for the scholarship, but will be considered for the scholarship on progression to a full degree programme at Teesside University.
The scholarship is allocated as a fee waiver.
If you meet the criteria below, you will automatically be considered (but not guaranteed) the scholarship. You do not need to apply separately or contact the University to be considered for the scholarship, but will be assessed using details on your course application by the Department of International Development. If you are successful, you will be contacted by the University via email with a scholarship offer, please look out for this communication. If you are not contacted with a scholarship offer, please accept that you have been unsuccessful in receiving the scholarship on this occasion. All eligible international applicants will be assessed by the International Scholarships Committee.

<li style="font-size: 14pt;">On a foundation, undergraduate or postgraduate programme, applying to study at Teesside for the first time. Excludes students on pathway/foundation programmes at Teesside University International Study Centre, however you may be considered for this scholarship on progression to a full degree programme at Teesside University</li>
<li style="font-size: 14pt;">A full-time sponsored or self-funding student, paying international fees starting your course in May or September 2025</li>
<li style="font-size: 14pt;">Student must pay their deposit and accept their offer before the scholarship can be added to their account. Students can find information about paying on the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.tees.ac.uk/sections/about/pay.cfm">University's website</a>. Students can firm their offer via the&nbsp;<a href="https://e-vision.tees.ac.uk/si_prod/sits.urd/run/siw_lgn" target="_blank" rel="noopener">application portal</a>.</li>
<li style="font-size: 14pt;">Eligible students offered a scholarship will be notified by email. The email will contain a deadline by which they to pay deposit and accept the offer. If they do not meet the deadline provided, the scholarship offer will be revoked and offered to another eligible student.</li>
<li style="font-size: 14pt;">There are a limited number of scholarships available.</li>
