MSc Data Science

The MSc Data Science course, offered by Teeside University, prepares you with a strong understanding of the methodologies, tools, and techniques necessary to analyse and visualise ‘big’ data in a range of socio-economic and scientific contexts. By the end of the course, you will have a practical understanding of recent advances in Machine Learning and how to apply them to solve real-world problems.Course Content: This full-time course is spread over three trimesters. In the first two trimesters, you explore a range of key topics while the third trimester features your dissertation. Key Modules: The four key modules of the course are Principles of Data Science, Analytical Databases and Data Science Methods, Machine Learning and Advanced Computational Techniques, and Data Governance and Ethics.
