Meng Civil Engineering

The MEng (Hons) Civil Engineering course offered by Teesside University is a four-year full-time program, employing creative and environmentally responsible practices to design and construct the physical and natural environment. The aim of this program is to equip graduates with the required knowledge and skills to meet the demands of modern civil engineering.Course Content: This course offers a balanced approach for studying civil engineering combining theory and practical learning. The first three years of learning is similar to the BEng (Hons) Civil Engineering course content, focusing on engineering science and design, and the application to construction. In the final year, students take a team project that tests their knowledge and skills in solving real-life engineering problems.Key Modules: Some of the key modules you will study include Structural Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics and Thermodynamics, Engineering Design and Practice, Application of Analytical Mathematics, and several Work-Based Learning projects.
