BSc (Hons) Nutrition is a full-time undergraduate course offered by Teesside University. This course provides students with an in-depth understanding of nutritional science, including public health nutrition, clinical nutrition, and nutrition for sport and exercise. The course is taught through interactive lectures, practical laboratory sessions and seminars.Course Content: Topics of study include nutritional biochemistry, anatomy and physiology, sports and exercise nutrition, weight management and obesity, public Health nutrition, and health promotion strategies. Professional Practice in Sport and Exercise, Clinical Nutrition and dietetics, Nutrition Research Project, and Behaviour Change and Health Promotion are among the key third-year modules.Accreditations: This course is accredited by the UK Association for Nutrition (AfN) which means that upon successful completion, students are eligible to apply for registration as an Associate Nutritionist.
