BSc Hons Games Development

The BSc (Hons) Games Development course offered by Teeside University is a dynamic and demanding degree program designed to equip students with the necessary technical skills and knowledge needed in designing, developing and testing games for various platforms. The course aims to foster creativity, innovation and problem-solving capabilities.Course Content: The course covers areas like animation, graphics, computer science, and business. Students will be introduced to modern game design and game production process and they will work on their own game projects. Key Modules: Modules include Gameplay and Game Systems, Game Programming, Application of Computing, Games Development Project, Graphics Programming, Simulation & Concurrency, and Agile Development. Students will also have the opportunity to engage in a major project, which is an individual piece of work that takes up the final year of the degree course.Accreditations: The course is developed in partnership with the industry and it's accredited by the BCS- The Chartered Institute for IT.Future Careers: Graduates of the Games Development programme can expect employment in areas like gameplay programming, graphics programming, AI programming, physics programming, and testing.
