The BSc (Hons) Environmental Science degree at Teesside University is a course that prepares students for the challenges of the 21st century in facing global and local environmental issues. It offers a thorough understanding of the scientific principles underlying environmental issues, covering the nurturing and protection of the environment. Course Content: The course is composed of three levels, Level 4 introduces basic concepts and principles in a broad range of areas essential to environmental science, Level 5 focuses on core modules while Level 6 allows students to specialise in diverse environmental science disciplines.Key Modules: The core modules include Earth Systems, Ecology and Conservation, Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Fieldwork, Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Research Project.Accreditations: This course is accredited by the Institution of Environmental Sciences (IES) and the Committee of Heads of Environmental Sciences (CHES).
