The MChiro – Master of Chiropractic course offered by the University of South Wales is a full-time, five-year undergraduate programme that ensures students graduate with the necessary skills and qualifications to become a professional chiropractor. This course aims to develop competent clinicians with the knowledge and skills necessary to identify, treat, and prevent problems with the muscles, joints, and nervous system, through spine manipulation.Course Content: This hands-on course provides a good balance of clinical science, chiropractic study, and practical work in public clinics, with a special focus on anatomy and spinal adjustment techniques. Additionally, there are two major elements in the first two years: the BioMedical Sciences and Clinical Chiropractic elements. In the final three years, these elements are merged and the clinical and professional aspects of the programme are highlighted.Key Modules: Core modules include Foundations in Health Sciences, Clinical Sciences and Chiropractic, and Clinical Practice. Other modules aim to equip students with a strong foundation in clinical practice, diagnosis, management and adjustment techniques, along with exposure to a wide range of patients and clinical conditions.Accreditations: The course is fully accredited and recognized by both the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) and the European Council on Chiropractic Education (ECCE).
