The Undergraduate International Business with Languages course at Glasgow Caledonian University combines language proficiency with a thorough knowledge of international business. The course prepares students for a career in the global business environment by offering a deep understanding of how international companies operate and the vital role of language in business success. Course Content: The combination of language proficiency and international business knowledge are taught with a strong focus on employability. Students will undertake a year abroad (or at a UK-based language school), mastering a language while learning essential business skills. The course offers French, German, Spanish, Italian and Mandarin, and no prior knowledge of the language is necessary. Students also have the opportunity to participate in the GCU British Sign Language and Deaf Awareness society. Key Modules: Some of the key modules in the course include International Business Environment, Marketing and Analysis, People Management, Financial Reporting for Business, and Global Business Strategy. Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). As a result, students will graduate with a CMI Diploma in Leadership and Management, in addition to their degree.
