The course combines the virtual learning environment with laboratory-based practical sessions, equipping learners for the pressures and responsibilities of the nursing profession.Course Content: The course covers a range of topics including nursing adults with a range of physical health conditions and needs, pharmacology, leadership and management in healthcare, law, ethics, reflective practice, and transition to professional practice. The curriculum also includes nurturing soft skills crucial to ethical and professional patient care, and handling complex healthcare scenarios.Key Modules: Key study units include Biosciences in Health, Psychosocial Perspectives of Health, Transitions in Care, Person-Centred Practice, and Practice Learning Experience.Accreditations: On successful completion of the course, students will be eligible to apply for their registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), subject to approval. Future Careers: This course prepares students for a career in adult nursing in a variety of healthcare settings.
