The Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) course at the University of Huddersfield is a full-time, four-year program. It provides a comprehensive grounding in the ever-evolving world of pharmacy; setting students up with the knowledge and skills required to enter a career in pharmacy. This course involves extensive practical work in laboratories and the unique opportunity to gain work experience throughout each year of study.Course Content: The Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) course includes modules on Medicine Design and Manufacture, Central Nervous System Drugs, Oncology and Infections, Professional Pharmacy, Cardiovascular Respiratory and Renal Drugs, and Digestive and Endocrine Drugs. In addition, it offers a 'sandwich year' which includes Pharmacists in Training modules, providing unique work experience.Key Modules: Some examples of key modules students will study throughout the course are; Principles of Drug Delivery and Disposition, Professional and Personal Development, and Applied Pharmacology and Therapeutics.Accreditations: This course is fully accredited by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC), a regulatory body for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and pharmacy premises in Great Britain.Future Careers: This course provides the foundation for a future career as a pharmacist.
