BSc (Hons) Operating Department Practice is a full-time undergraduate course offered by the University of Huddersfield. Level 4 includes modules like Professional Paramedic Practice, Applied Anatomy and Physiology, and Foundations of Operating Department Practice. Level 5 covers modules such as Applied Health Sciences, Evidence Informed Practice, and Perioperative Care of the Surgical Patient. Level 6 encompasses modules like Independent Project, Leadership and Management and Advanced Specialist Roles in Operating Department Practice. Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), meaning that upon graduation students are eligible to register and practice as an ODP.Future Careers: The course prepares students for careers primarily focusing on operating department practitioners.
