This course allows you to develop the skills and knowledge to become a fully-qualified midwife, while earning a salary.Course Content: The course combines regular attendance at the University with working in a clinical environment, thus offering a comprehensive exposure to both academic and practical aspects of midwifery. The theory part involves 50% of the course, where you gain understanding of the bio-psychosocial aspects of health, illness and care. Practical training comprises the rest 50%, wherein you will gain skills and competence as you learn from your experiences of providing care to a range of women, newborn babies and their families.
