The Psychology Conversion at the University of Dundee is a postgraduate course designed for students who already possess a degree in another discipline, but wish to pursue psychology at a professional level. The program educates students in the core areas of psychological science, including research methods, and psychology as a biological science, a social science and an applied discipline.Course Content: This four semester course covers core areas of psychology, delivered through a series of lectures, seminars, group work, practical tasks and independent study. It also includes a research project, where students will design, conduct and analyze their own research under the guidance of a member of staff. Key Modules: Students will study a range of modules such as Biological Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Development Psychology, Social Psychology, Individual Differences, Research Methods and Practicals, and Empirical Project.Accreditations: The course is accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS), providing the Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership.
