BSc Financial Economics at the University of Dundee is focused on understanding how decisions made by governments, businesses and individuals determine how resources are allocated within an economy. The course provides students with an in-depth understanding in a range of areas including microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics with specific focus on financial aspects such as investments, banking, and risk management.Course Content: The course content spans over four levels. The first level provides students with a foundation in critical thinking, academic skills and core concepts of economics. The second level introduces students to macroeconomics, microeconomics, quantitative methods, and financial markets. The third level delves deep in economic theories, econometrics and taxation.
