BEng (Hons) Mechanical Engineering

The University of Dundee offers a BEng (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering. This course provides students knowledge of the advanced concepts of mechanical engineering and it lasts for four years. This course is designed with a focus on industrial applications, combining theory with hands-on experience.Course Content: The Mechanical Engineering course covers common fundamentals during the first two years, with subjects including Mathematics, Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Fluids, Materials, and Electronics. In the third year, students will study broader and more advanced topics, focusing on applications in major industrial sectors. In the fourth and final year, courses are optional, allowing the students to specialize according to their interests.
