The Criminology BSc (Hons) at the University of Lincoln is a full-time undergraduate course designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the complexities of crime and criminal behaviour. This interdisciplinary course combines the study of criminology with doctrine and procedural aspects of criminal law, theoretical paradigms and contemporary debates.Course Content: Throughout the course, the primary focus is on key socio-legal, ethical, political, and philosophical questions, such as the nature of social order and the function of social control, the role of law, the criminal justice system from a global perspective, and the significance of social divisions on the processes of criminalization and victimization.
