BSc Hons International Relations and Economics

The International Relations and Economics BA (Hons) offered by the University of Derby is a joint honors program that equips students with an overview of the world's major international issues and a deep understanding of economic concepts. It tackles both disciplines from a fresh angle and stimulates new thinking about the global issues that matter today.Course Content: This course provides a wide understanding of the globalized world, covering areas such as the global political economy, migration, international security, sustainability, and human rights. In the realm of economics, students gain insight into topics like micro and macroeconomics, monetary and financial conditions, as well as economic policy and implementation. Key Modules: The course’s key areas of study comprise modules on Economics for Business, International Relations in the 20th Century, Global Business Environment, Contemporary Issues in International Relations, and Economic Analysis.
