BA Hons Animation

The Animation BA (Hons) course at the University of Derby provides students with the skills and knowledge to create compelling animated content for a variety of mediums and professions by integrating illustration, storytelling, and character development, with the use of the latest technology and software.Course Content: The program is designed to help students understand different animation techniques (CG, Traditional, Stop Motion), utilize the latest software (Maya, TV Paint, Z-Brush), learn character design, environment design, and props, comprehend scriptwriting and storyboarding, and understand professional standards and working methodologies.
