The MRes Pharmaceutical and Medicinal Science course at Nottingham Trent University is designed to provide students with full training in the practical aspects of research methodology and techniques in drug design, development, and delivery. The course enables students to build a strong foundation in understanding and applying the techniques used in pharmaceutical and medicinal science research. Having the flexibility to build your route, you can cluster your studies around the subject area you are most interested in, whether that’s Drug Discovery, Drug Development or Drug Delivery.Course Content: The course is comprised of compulsory and optional modules which allow students to tailor their learning to their interests and career aspirations. The compulsory modules cover topics such as Research Methods in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Chemical Science, Quality by Design in Medicinal Drug Development, and Modern Methods in Spectroscopy.
