The BSc (Hons) Zoology course at Nottingham Trent University is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of animal biology and ecosystem function. Students gain the necessary skills to evaluate the vital processes of animals and their environments, and work with experts to learn about animal behavior, conservation, ecology, and evolution. Course Content: The course is divided into three years, or four years with a placement. In the first year, students study subjects such as Biological Skills and Methods, Introduction to Genetics, and Evolution and Animal Behaviour. The second year includes modules such as Field Zoology, Conservation Genetics, and Vertebrate Zoology.
