The BEng (Hons) Aerospace Engineering course offered at Nottingham Trent University provides a profound understanding of the principles of aerospace engineering through practical and theoretical learning. During the final year, students undertake an individual project while also studying further topics such as advanced aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, and project management.Key Modules: Some of the core modules over three years include Engineering Mathematics, Mechanics, Design and Materials, Computational and Numerical Methods, Roof Truss Analysis, Aerodynamics, Advanced Propulsion Systems, and Aircraft Systems Design.Accreditations: This course is accredited by the Institute of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer and partially meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.Future Careers: This course prepares students for a wide range of roles within aerospace design and manufacture.
