The BSc (Hons) Dietetics course at The London Metropolitan University allows students to become confident, successful dietitians by providing quality education and hands-on experience. This course is known for its strong focus on public health aspects of dietetics and a flexible learning environment.Course Content: The course ensures students get a deep understanding of both the theory and practical applications of dietetics. Students study subjects including biochemistry and cellular biology, psychology and sociology of health, nutrition across the lifespan, and dietetics for various life stages and conditions.Key Modules: Modules include Foundations of Cellular Science, Principles of Nutritional Science, Human Disease, Nutrition and Public Health, Applied Dietetics, and Professional Practice in Dietetics.Accreditations: The course is accredited by the British Dietetic Association and the Health and Care Professions Council. As a result, upon successful completion of the course, students would be eligible to register as dietitians.Future Careers: Graduates can expect to find employment in a variety of settings, such as public health, education, research, the NHS, the private sector and overseas.
