The BSc (Hons) Sport and Exercise Science with Foundation Year at the University of Wolverhampton is a full-time, integrated course designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in sport and exercise professions. It combines a foundation year for those who may need further preparation before embarking on a degree, with the remainder of the course focusing on sport and exercise science.Course Content: Over the four years, students will explore the essential concepts of sport and exercise physiology, psychology, and biomechanics. They will also study research methods, develop practical skills in sport and exercise science, and undertake a research project in their final year.Key Modules: Key study areas include Foundations for Sport, Physical Activity & Health; Research Methods in Sport, Exercise and Rehabilitation; Performance Physiology; Biomechanics of Sports Techniques; Fitness Testing; and, Advanced Topics in Sport & Exercise Psychology.Accreditations: The course is endorsed by SkillsActive, the sector skills council for active leisure and learning.
