The BSc (Hons) Learning Disability Nursing course at the University of Wolverhampton is a full-time, three-year course that seeks to equip students with the skills and knowledge required to adequately provide healthcare for people with learning disabilities. The course integrates academic learning and practical experience, preparing students for a rewarding career in Learning Disability nursing.Course Content: The course encompasses diverse topics such as inclusive practice, health promotion, communication, law and ethics, public health, professional practice in learning disability nursing, and person-centred care.
