The BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Radiography course offered by London South Bank University equips students with the skills required for a professional career in diagnostic radiography. This course focuses on the utilization of radiography and associated imaging techniques in the diagnosis and treatment of patients.Course Content: The academic content of this course consists of clinical practice placements, application of science in the clinical environment, and focusing on patient care and management. The course will integrate knowledge in physics, anatomy, physiology, pathology, and radiological science. Practical skills will be developed through placements at partner NHS Trusts. Key Modules: The course entails major learning modules like Patient Care, Imaging Technology, Pathophysiology, Applied Radiographic Practice, Clinical Radiography Practice, etc. It also offers Study Abroad and Erasmus programs. Accreditations: The programme is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), meaning that on successful completion of the programme, students will be eligible to apply to register with the HCPC as a Diagnostic Radiographer. The course is also Accredited by the Society and College of Radiographers.Future Careers: Graduates are equipped to work as diagnostic radiographers in the NHS or the private sector.
