The Architecture, Landscape and Urbanism MSc at the University of Greenwich is a course designed to focus on the co-dependency between architecture, landscape, and urbanism. It stimulates students to reshape architectural and spatial creativity. It offers opportunities to visit European cities and explore various case studies that represent advanced urban and architectural design styles.Course Content: Through the Landscape and Urbanism MSc, Students study two of six taught modules alongside the Design Thesis, allowing them to delve deeper into these subjects. The course enables students to learn about social, political, and economic aspects, which influence the architecture and spaces we design and inhabit. It also educates students about the historical and contemporary discourses in architecture, landscape, and city planning alongside digital and physical modeling on multiple scales.Key Modules: The course covers various modules including Theory and History of Urbanism, Ecologies of Urbanism, Urban Strategies, World Cities and Emerging Economies, Research Methods, Advanced Landscape and Urbanism Design, and Advanced Architectural Design.Accreditations: This course is accredited by the Landscape Institute (LI) and holds Candidate Status with the International Federation of Landscape Architects (IFLA) and the European Council of Landscape Architecture Schools (ECLAS).Future Careers: Upon successful completion, graduates can venture into a number of professional pathways, such as architectural design, landscape design, urban design, urbanism studies, research (PhD), and design curation.
