The BEng Hons Electrical & Electronic Engineering course offered by the University of Greenwich is designed to equip students for a career in electrical or electronic engineering. Throughout the course, students will gain the knowledge and skills needed to meet the demands of the industry, both now and in the future.Course Content: The curriculum focuses on developing understanding in the design, operation, optimization and maintenance of electronic and electrical power systems. Students will study subjects areas such as circuit theory, engineering science and principles, electronics, control systems, power systems and power electronics.Key Modules: A selection of key study areas includes Engineering Mathematics, Programming for Engineers, Electrical and Electronic Principles, Analogue and Digital Electronics, and Electrical Power. In the final year, students will undertake a major individual project.Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) on behalf of the Engineering Council for the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as an Incorporated Engineer and partly meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer.Future Careers: Graduates from this course are well equipped for a career in a wide range of industries, including but not limited to energy, technology, telecommunications, automotive, aerospace and construction.
