The Business Logistics and Supply Chain Management BA (Hons) is a course offered by the University of Greenwich. The course explores the complex process of goods delivery, from raw materials to finished products, including strategic planning, procurement, transport, warehousing, and inventory management. It prepares students to control and manage the complex operations and systems in global supply chains.Course Content: The Business Logistics and Supply Chain Management course covers several topics which include Business Logistics and Transport, Procurement and Supply Chain Management, Retail Supply Chain Management, Demand and Inventory Planning, Strategic Supply Chain and Logistics Management. The course flows through concepts such as value chain, transport integration, stock management, green logistics, and procurement. Students will also be given an opportunity to learn a new language in their first year.Key Modules: The key modules include: Foundations of Scholarship and Research Methods, Principles and Management, Business English, Logistics and Transport Management, Organizational Behavior and Management, Integrated Business Decision Making, Strategic Supply Chain and Logistics Management, as well as a major project in Business Logistics and Supply Chain Management.Accreditations: The programme is currently seeking accreditation from the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.Future Careers: The course enables students to pursue careers in areas such as transport and logistics, manufacturing and retail companies, public sectors, postal companies, healthcare sectors, among other opportunities.
