The Northumbria International Scholarship &ndash; for applicants joining in September 2025
The Northumbria International Scholarship&nbsp;will award students who join at Level 4 (the first year of an Undergraduate degree) and those who join with advanced entry to Level 5 and Level 6 (top-up awards) a&nbsp;&pound;4,000&nbsp;tuition fee discount.
Students will also receive&nbsp;&pound;2,000&nbsp;in subsequent years,&nbsp;up&nbsp;to a total of &pound;8,000

To be eligible for the Northumbria International Scholarship, you must:

<li>Be an International student with &lsquo;Overseas&rsquo; fee status</li>
<li>Be domiciled in Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka</li>
<li>Be a self-funded student (not in receipt of any sponsorship)</li>
<li>Be accepted and enrolled on a Full-Time Undergraduate course at the Newcastle Upon Tyne campus, in September 2025</li>

<li>The Northumbria International Scholarship is applied automatically as a fee discount, you do not need to make a separate application</li>
<li>Students joining with advanced entry to Level 5 and Level 6 (top-up awards)&nbsp;are also eligible for the International Scholarship</li>
<li>Students will receive a maximum of three years' discount, to a total of &pound;8,000</li>
<li>Sponsored students are&nbsp;not&nbsp;eligible for the International Scholarship</li>
<li>Students undertaking an integrated Masters course will&nbsp;not&nbsp;receive the Northumbria International Scholarship in the final year</li>
<li>Students who are progressing from a partner institute where reduced fees and bespoke offers have been agreed, are&nbsp;not&nbsp;eligible for the International Scholarship</li>
<li>The International Scholarship is&nbsp;not&nbsp;available to overseas students on courses delivered with the International Soccer Academy (i2i)</li>
<li>Students undertaking a placement or study abroad year are&nbsp;not&nbsp;entitled to the International Scholarship in this year</li>
<li>Students who are progressing from a Foundation Year&nbsp;are&nbsp;eligible for the International Scholarship</li>
<li>The International Scholarship is a fee discount and&nbsp;not&nbsp;a cash sum</li>
<li>If you defer your place, the scholarship&nbsp;offer will be withdrawn</li>
<li>If you decide to take a study break, discount applied to future years will be withdrawn&nbsp;</li>
<li>If you are required to repeat a year, the scholarship will not be applied again</li>
<li>The University's decision is final and cannot be challenged; there is no right of appeal</li>
