The Journalism BA (Hons) Single Honours is a Bachelor level course offered at the University of Chester. The course is theoritical, practical, and digital and incorporates various types of media. It has been designed to equip students with a wide range of skills and competencies required in modern journalism. Course Content: The course introduces students to journalism principles, practical writing skills, law and government for journalists, and research methods. In the first year, students get a strong understanding of print, radio, TV, and online journalism. As they advance, they choose modules based on their interests and career goals.
