The Sport Rehabilitation BSc at the University of Hull offers students a comprehensive understanding of sport and exercise medicine, equipping them with the skills to help athletes recover from injuries and reach their full potential. This course is hands-on, providing practical sessions and clinical placements, whilst also delivering the theoretical foundation necessary for a successful career in sport rehabilitation.Course Content: The course is divided into three years, each building upon the previous. In the first year, students will focus on the fundamentals of sport science and introductory modules on human anatomy and physiology. In the second year, the course shifts focus towards injury assessment, therapeutic modalities, and sports injuries. The final year tackles rehabilitation from injuries, professional issues in sports rehabilitation, and a final dissertation.Key Modules: Some of the key study modules include Human Physiology, Musculoskeletal Anatomy, Injury Assessment, Therapeutic Modalities, Exercise Rehabilitation and a Sport Rehabilitation Dissertation.Accreditations: This degree is endorsed by the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT), which allows graduates to practice as Graduate Sport Rehabilitators.Future Careers: Graduates of this course have risen to successful careers as sports therapists and rehabilitation specialists.
