The BA (Hons) Geography course at the University of Hull is a full-time undergraduate program that spans over three years. This course allows students to explore the world and its environments, peoples, and cultures. It provides a deep understanding of geographical issues and challenges through a combination of academic study, practical fieldwork, and potential work placements. Course Content: The course includes core modules such as Global Environments, and People and Place, which are intended to develop your understanding of human and physical geography. Throughout the course, you have the opportunity to delve into a range of specialized areas including environmental change, global development, Arctic studies, and cultural geography. Key Modules: The curriculum is divided into yearly segments. In the first year, you will study Global Environments, People and Place and Skills for Geographers. The second year, you'll focus on Researching Human and Physical Geography, Geographic Research Design, and a variety of optional modules. Third year will cover Dissertation and several optional modules according to your interest.Accreditations: This course is accredited by the Royal Geographical Society. Future Careers: Graduates can apply their degree in various fields such as environmental consultancy, planning and development, tourism, or in central and local government.
