BA Game Design

The Game Design BA (Hons) course at the University of Hull enables you to apply your creativity and passion for games to create characters and experiences that others can enjoy. The course delivers a mix of creative, technical and theoretical elements, as you study the developmental processes of modern console, PC and mobile games. Course Content: This course includes critical analysis, 3D modelling, character development, asset production and gameplay design. In the second year, you can opt to take a year-long Business Studies for the Creative Industries module. The final year involves developing your own game, and learning to market and promote yourself in the industry.Key Modules: Some of the key modules you will study include Game Design, Game Studies, 3D Game Development, Business Studies for the Creative Industries, and Game Production.Future Careers: After completing the course, students can pursue a range of careers in the games industry - as designers, artists, producers, and gameplay programmers.
