The MA Architecture and Adaptive Reuse at Manchester Metropolitan University is a course designed to prepare students to become practising architects and/or pioneers in the field of architectural reclamation and reshaping of the built environment. Course Content: The course offers an innovative blend of vital components designed to take a holistic approach to architecture. It gives importance to benefiting from the existing fabric of buildings, urban renewal, and morphology. Its design-led curriculum challenges students to adapt and change redundant buildings for new uses, introducing new roles for the existing urban/building fabric.Key Modules: Some of the core modules that students can expect throughout this course include Urban Morphology and Meaning, Adapting Architectures, Integrated Design Project, and Research Methods.
