BSc (Hons.) Social Work

The BA Social Work course at Manchester Metropolitan University is a comprehensive and intense programme aimed at arming students with the skills needed to excel in the diverse environment of social work. It combines both theoretical aspects and hands-on experience in a stimulating vocational environment that creates the perfect conditions for maximum learning and understanding.Course Content: The course content includes an introduction to social work, social policy and social work law, human growth and behaviour, and social work methods. Students will also cover risk, resilience and protection, social work statistics, research, leadership and management, offender management and social care integration.
