BA (Hons) Early Years and Childhood Studies

The BA Early Years and Childhood Studies at Manchester Metropolitan University is a full-time, three-year undergraduate degree. Designed for those interested in working with children and their families in a range of professional settings, this degree enables students to critically explore childhood from a range of perspectives.Course Content: Students will investigate how children learn and develop, and how the world around them affects this. They will also consider the role of the adult in supporting children and examine the multi-disciplinary nature of working with children and families. The course will also delve into the aspects of inclusion, diversity, social justice, child protection, and educational policy.
