The BSc Business Technology course at Manchester Metropolitan University combines the study of business and computing, providing students with the practical, managerial and communication skills they need to be proficient in the world of technology and business.Course Content: Starting with the foundations of digital business, students will learn in-depth about creating digital solutions and managing data. They will also explore system design, project management, and the entrepreneurial and ethical viewpoints of digital business. In the final year, students will embark on a large scale digital business design project and have the opportunity to additional specialty modules.Key Modules: The course encompasses key modules such as Understanding Digital Business, Creating Digital Solutions, Enterprise Project, Managing Data, System Design and Project Management, Business Technology Consultancy Project, among others.Accreditations: This degree is recognised by the British Computer Society (BCS) - The Chartered Institute for IT on behalf of the Science Council for the purposes of partially meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Scientist.Future Careers: The course prepares students for a wide range of professions such as Business Technology Consultant, IT Project Manager, Business Analyst, Data Analyst, Systems Analyst and Project Leader.
