The course content includes study of professional, legal and health and safety issues.Key Modules: The core modules for the course include Infrastructure Design Project, Infrastructure Asset Management, Professional and Environment Management, Advanced Geotechnics and Research Appraisal 1 & 2. Students can also choose an optional module from the given list including Foundation Design & Assessment, Surface Water Management, and Traffic and Transport Engineering. Accreditations: The course is accredited by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM) representing the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Institution of Structural Engineers, the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation, and the Institute of Highway Engineers on behalf of the Engineering Council as meeting the requirements for further learning for registration as a Chartered Engineer. Candidates must hold a CEng accredited BEng/BSc (Hons) undergraduate first degree to comply with full CEng registration requirements. Future Careers: Upon completion, students will be prepared to perform at a high level across the scope of the civil engineering field.
