MA Global Heritage

The Global Heritage MA course offered by Bangor University aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the key theoretical debates and practices within the heritage industry globally. The course also provides skills for those seeking employment in the heritage industry or seeking to pursue research in global heritage.Course Content: The course focuses on a range of topics in heritage and its global cultural and economic dimensions. Students will study the effect of globalisation on cultural heritage and its management by focusing on emerging heritage policies from developing countries. The course also covers the cultural, ethical, economic and social issues tied with cultural heritage.Key Modules: Some of the key modules in the course include Global Heritage and Development, Critical Thinking and Research Skills, and Global Heritage: Theory and Practice.
