The Marine Biology and Oceanography BSc (Hons) is an exciting undergraduate degree offered by Bangor University. The course is aimed to equip students with a broad understanding of both Marine Biology and Oceanography, and focuses on interactions between marine organisms and the environment. Course Content: The course curriculum is both theory-based and incorporates practical learning experience. It integrates physical, chemical, geological, and biological aspects of the oceans. Students are introduced to diverse marine life and habitats, ocean circulation and sea level changes.Key Modules: Key modules include Marine Invertebrates, Oceanography, Marine Vertebrates and their Ecosystems, Marine Pollution, Marine Fisheries, Marine Ecology and Conservation, Coastal and Estuarine Ecology, and Tropical Marine Biology and Oceanography.
