BSc Hons. Geography

The BSc (Hons) Geography course at Bangor University is a comprehensive programme dynamically structured to provide students with in-depth knowledge in both physical and human geography. The course integrates fieldwork, practical classes, and lectures with a wide variety of optional modules for specialization. Course Content: The curriculum is designed to offer a strong foundation in geography in the first year. In the subsequent years, it allows students to choose from a range of modules according to their interests. The third year includes dissertation work on a research topic of the student's choice in consultation with a supervisor. Key Modules: Core content covers Understanding Earth Systems, People and Place, Dynamic Landscapes, and Environmental Issues.
